Before Tania Reynold’s published her paper, “Man Up and Take It, Gender Differences in Moral Typecasting” my hypothesis relied heavily on Dr. Laurie Rudman’s work Gender Differences in Automatic In group Bias. This conformed to my field observations, but had sample size and methodology problems.
Dr. Rudman has not yet responded to multiple requests to comment on my analysis.
As a result, my first two series, “There’s a Flaw in All Men, We’re Doomed and Only Women can Save the Day” and “Men, as a Group, Are Stupid, They Could Learn a Lot from Women and They’d Better Ask for Help” were written in a slightly satirical dystopian language locally known as Minnesota Nice.
Minnesota Nice is a very similar to the ‘parasitic ideas’ described in Dr. Gad Saad’s Parasitic Mind.
Dr. Reynold’s Paper, the George Floyd unrest and the discovery of three moral movements that began in Minnesota, allowed me more confidence to write plainly about my field observations and analysis.
The first three Minnesota based moral movements I’d discovered at that time were Vatican II, Marxist Feminism and the modern Pro Life Movement. That list has since expanded to several other Minnesota moral movements.
These were the human emotional networks I speculate the moral panics were spreading through.
ASCHITI Model of Gender Perception
I speculate the dozens of global moral panics epicentered in Minnesota might be related to these moral movements and ASCHITI Model of Gender Perception. This model was based on Dr. Rudman’s and Reynold’s research and Precarious Manhood, a very well cited paper.
For practical purposes men are seen as invincible perpetrators and women seen as harmless patients, women as default in group members, men as default outgroup members, not human beings, but human doings constantly needing to provide or sacrifice to maintain human value or status.
Agency – Status – Care – Harm – Identity – Typecast – Issues (ASCHITI)
I suggest that the hatred of men and the hatred of Jews have some similarities due to Agency biases.
This model of perception, if validated through testing, could explain the taboos and typecasting allow certain panics to spread. Certain connected, media technologies allow panic to spread more easily, creating more stress in a positive feedback loop of negative emotions and fear of female pattern aggression. (relationship and reputation destruction)
Swamp Leak Hypothesis
Minnesota is roughly the geographic center of North America. It’s the headwaters of the Mississippi, its boundary waters connect us to Canada and Duluth, Minnesota has the furthest inland port city in the world.
There’s a lot of water, we’re physically and culturally upstream from a lot of places. We have a lot of Marxists, Moral Movements and mosquitos.
Anyone who’s paid attention to Minnesota’s policing or who’s ever heard of the Duluth Model understands we’re not really big on due process. (See: Duluth Lynching, Trial of Derek Chauvin, Arrest of Daunte Wright) Since the Duluth Model was targeted at “helping women in the Black community” it’s created significant disparities in fatherlessness, low test scores and crime.
Anyone who understands that Sex Offender registries sprung from the swamp waters of Stearns County Minnesota perhaps won’t be surprised I speculate this is also the epicenter of the woke_mind_virus.
Due Process for Men in Minnesota
Everyone seemed shocked by the arrest of George Floyd but me and Chuck Turchick who’ve been watching Minneapolis policing for years. Before the video was even over, I was on the City of Minneapolis website looking at their use of force guidelines. The city had been court ordered to change the policy in 2012, but never did.
They had changed the gender pronoun policy so I guess there’s that. Man, do we love pretty words here in Lake Wobegon.
The city council is very good at riling up crowds and paying community organizers, but not very good at analyzing, reviewing or changing actual police policy. Minnesota’s bustling activist industry combined with a rather corrupt, yet polite and politically correct legal apparatus has found many sympathetic to groups such as Anti Racist Action and Black Lives Matter.
BLM curiously demanded the repeal of the 1994 Crime Bill which included the Violence Against Women Act and the Wetterling Act which authorized the first ever national sex offender registries in British Commonlaw.
But hey, Who can Argue with the State of Minnesota?
We have a perverse set of incentives driving our state. Derek Chauvin’s wife was Mrs. Minnesota 2018 which makes Derek, Mr. Mrs. Minnesota.
The media seems to believe some Black Lives Matter more than other Black Lives Matter, even when killed by police. The gender bias I describe seems to be as prevalent as it is invisible in Minnesota Courts of law.
Females are typecast as victims, men are typecast as perpetrators. This obviously affects men but it also affects women as it destroyed the life of my brother.
A Proposed Solution
My first series at A Voice For Men produced quite a bit of mixed feedback, but consistent threads were “How are you going to fix it?”, “What is your solution?” “What are we going to do about it?”.
Don’t try to cure what you don’t understand and at that time, in 2017, I wasn’t sure I understood it.
The hypothesis of the first series was the title, “There’s a flaw in all men, we’re doomed, only women can save the day” was that only women would be able to be heard on these issues.
This is similar to what we are seeing with Black Parents criticizing Critical Race Theory in Schools.
Like it or not, as alleged “beneficiaries” they have more credibility than white parents. Women criticizing Critical Gender Theory Based Policy and the impacts on their lives would be similarly credible.
In either event “leave it to women to fix it” wasn’t a deeply satisfying answer to the A Voice for Men readership.
My next series, “Men, as a group are stupid, they could learn a lot from Women, they better ask for help”, suggests that interested men developing their understanding of media and persuasion might be able to solve the woke_mind_virus.
In this series, I suggest perhaps mentorship and reaching out to non woke leaders in the Black Community might be a solution. I’ve tried this with mixed results.
Algorithmic Satirical Computational Humor (A.S.C.H.)
Humor has the ability to close the gap between perception and reality. I’ve definitely tested mocking, ridicule and gross humor to enlighten even the staunchest feminists and teenaged girls to illuminate things they’d rather avoid looking at.
Scott Adams, suggests the 2/6 Formula for writing jokes which I’ve been testing to great effect. I also made my first proposal for AI driven humor to offset the negative emotion feedback loop we’re experiencing.
I also offer an example of algorithmic humor as a means of illustrating taboo issues…
Example of A.S.C.H. in action: Little House on the Prairie Home Companion.
I’m not entirely certain when Minneapolis will blow again, but I have some confidence that it will.
I’m writing now in hopes that I will be able to reach enough people before I need to make the Jewel Eldora Exit.
