Dear Unwoke Minnesotans,
There are more of you than you think.
Whether you’re outstate, among the Rocks and Cows, in the Twin Cities Echo Chamber of Commerce, or in the suburbs, you no doubt noticed that the George Floyd riots quickly became a global event.
Like every good Minnesotan, you knew our beloved Shangri La was the center of the universe and this event gave you proof.
If it looked like a mass hysteria with religious overtones, you noticed something I’ve been watching for a long time.
What some very smart people, including Elon Musk, are calling the woke_mind_virus, we call Minnesota Nice.
On Memorial Day, 2020 the world got to see Minnesota Nice in action. I’ll use it in a few sentences for my readers outside the state.
- Derek Chauvin was MN Nice to George Floyd for not wearing a mask.
- The MN Nice protestors were mostly peaceful.
- Keith Ellison was MN Nice to Derek Chauvin and Kim Potter.
From the Lakota Uprising to the Duluth Lynchings, Minnesota is not really big on due process.
From the highly prejudicial Duluth Model of Power and Control, the Dworkin MacKinnon Bill, The Day Care Sex Hysteria (Jordan), the first sex nationwide sex offender registry in British Common law, to 2022 Believe All Women for Cash and Prizes Act there is something in the water of Lake Wobegon.
That something doesn’t much care for Truth, Rule of Law, or the US Constitution for that matter.
Some describe it as a religion and it looks like one. I believe it’s deeper than that. It operates like a supra-religious social virus, spreading from one host to another by signaling luxury ideas.
These luxury ideas, couched in faux sophisticated language make mean, stupid people feel smart and appear compassionate while they undermine every institution. They will stomp on your neck and complain that you’re tripping them.
Minnesota courts, universities, education systems, government, corporations, and even law enforcement are infected and spread this virus.
Contradictions do not bother the Woke. Legality does not concern the Woke, nor do reason, ethics, or logic persuade them. They are immune from the optics of nonbelievers.
The Woke are not hypocrites, they genuinely believe they are morally superior to you. They are everywhere and I believe the virus started in Minnesota.
Prohibition, Women’s Suffrage, Vatican II, The Pro-Life Movement, Marxist Feminism, The Civil Rights Movement, Alex Haley’s Roots, Sexual Harassment Law (MacKinnon), The Symbionese Liberation Army, the Manson Family all catalyzed within an hour of the Twin Cities.
Even Black Lives Matter metastasized when Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity HR Director for Minneapolis Public Schools, Deray McKesson, drove to Ferguson.
11 global moral movements have networks that begin on the 16 mile (25km) bus route between Downtown St. Paul and Uptown Minneapolis.
