In a series of tweets, I believe Kanye West suggested that “The Jews”(™) started Cancel Culture and that Black People are “The Real Jews”(™).
In an effort to show that Cancel Culture isn’t real and that accusations of Antisemitism are not Cancel Culture, several organizations have distanced themselves from the 2024 Presidential Candidate.
Balenciaga, MRC, The film and television studio, Vogue, CAA: The Creative Artists Agency, The Los Angeles Times, Adidas, even The Gap said it said it had shut down YeezyGap.com.
The leadership at Donda Academy, a school founded and funded by West informed parents, effective immediately, that the school is closed. Skechers apparently threw him out of their corporate offices.
Some people have suggested that using Kanye’s downfall as proof of Cancel Culture is a retarded argument.
This still begs the questions, “Is Cancel Culture Real?” and “Who started it?”
Kanye knows a hit song when he hears it and “Blame the Jews” is a #1.
It’s a runaway best seller and is easily translatable to foreign markets in every period of turmoil.
It’s raining; blame the Jews, there’s a drought; blame the Jews. 911? Jews. Derek Chauvin? Jews. Holocaust? Jews made it up – blame the Jews is a perennial smash hit.
I’ve dedicated several years to making the case that Minnesota Catholics, Presbyterians, Lutherans, and even some Muslims have been responsible for spreading the woke_mind_virus.
That said, if I was smart, I’d just blame “The Jews.”
It’s simpler and that makes it believable.
Humans are cognitive misers, we have limited turns of the brain. Humans love simple, univariate explanations of difficult and complex problems.
Some examples:
Conservatives blame fatherlessness for all inner city ills, as if that’s a solvable problem.
Progressives blame Systems of Oppression that need to be dismantled as if that’s practicable.
Who wants to explore the role single mothers play in fatherlessness?
That can get complicated quickly, in mixed company. Depending how mixed the company is, it could get very complicated, very quickly.
That tension causes people to lie or avoid situations where they may have otherwise been useful.
Lying by social dictate feels like humorless coercive oppression and has other consequences on policy.
Blaming the Jews solves the same cognitive problem as blaming men. Something about it feels natural to retards.
