Islamophobia is a real problem in Minnesota. When 911 hijackers wanted to take a plane for a “joyride” but didn’t want to learn how to take off or land in their flight training in Eagan, MN, the FBI didn’t follow up because of Islamophobia.
Ilhan Omar’s incestuous immigration fraud and live-streamed video evidence of her campaign team doing election fraud – this was Islamophobia.
Islamophobia is why Minneapolis had to set up a hate speech hotline in 2017.
Islamophobia is such a major problem in Minnesota one has to be careful about how they discuss public officials. Of course, since Keith Ellison is Attorney General, I’ll need to source my critiques thoroughly.
It’s of course a vicious right-wing lie that AG Ellison was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, wrote articles supporting Louis Farrakhan as Keith Hakim, was funded by CAIR, or to mention CAIR’s Antisemitism. And don’t ever mention that his Minneapolis City Councilman son, Jeremiah Ellison, is a longtime BLM organizer who gave away $27 million while his dad was overseeing the Derek Chauvin trial.
These are all examples of the type of Islamophobia that needs to be stopped in Minnesota.
During his election as Attorney General, Congressman Ellison served as the first-ever co-chair of the DNC and was accused in the New York Times of repeatedly beating the shit out of his then-girlfriend, Karen Monahan.
Of course, in addition to Islamophobia, these accusations of relationship violence and narcissism also perpetuate harmful stereotypes against Minnesota Democrats.
The #1 cause of Islamophobia is people learning about Islam.
This must be stopped.
Common Sense Free Speech Reform
Islamophobia is such a problem in Minnesota that AG Ellison has had to stop policies exempting journalists from arrest from filming violence and destruction in 2020 or asking the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals to drop a First Amendment case involving taking photos of Islamic students in public places.
He also tried to block cameras in the Derek Chauvin and Kim Potter trials.
AG Ellison has been so busy prosecuting white supremacist police officers, he hasn’t been able to ask DA Freeman to look into BIPOC hero Joe Crowshoe nearly killing someone with a skateboard outside Minneapolis’ world-famous CC Club in Minneapolis.
In fairness, even right-wing political commentator Ian Miles Chong says this attempted murder was completely licensed.
Another less famous example of AG Ellison’s dedication to free speech was this now famous photograph of him promoting the Anti-Fascist Handbook that freaked out all of the fascists.
A slightly less known free speech example is AG Ellison defending an Anti-Racist Action CoFounder, Kieran Knutson, in appellate court who was allegedly photographed beating up racists with brass knuckles.
AG Ellison’s work kept the photos from entering into the racist case. State of MN vs. Knutson
Antifa General Ellison also fought Islamophobia during the Derek Chauvin trial when he took personal offense when Chauvin’s attorney OUTRAGEOUSLY suggested the city intentionally settled the Floyd family’s $27 million-dollar civil suit during the criminal trial.
You can see Ellison’s work this week in the Kim Potter trial on Rekieta Law’s Youtube Channel.
